I live in FL and will not get a lot of use from this but there are a few months of the year when it gets cold at night. This heater puts out a generous amount of heat and will keep you warm. It is loaded with features: High heat really heats up the room quick, low heat keeps a nice steady flow of warm air (which my boxer loves) and there is a high/low temperature setting that automatically turns the unit on/off. The remote is definitely a nice feature and the REALLY cool thing is the little hiding slot on the rear of the unit to store the remote.
